"Myths and Dreams" Exhibition Tells the Story of Anatolia

The "Myths and Dreams" exhibition, offering a perspective on Anatolia's memory, meets art enthusiasts under the curatorship of İpek Yeğinsü. Running until 5 September at Kıraathane İstanbul Edebiyat Evi, this exhibition emphasizes through works that engage with ancient sites and mythological imagery that our cultural heritage is not an abstract concept independent of our present, and offers a view through Anatolia's memory of legends transformed into shared consciousness connecting us to one another. Art50.net's exhibition features works by artists Ahmet Rüstem Ekici, Aslı Dinç, Baysan Yüksel, Deniz Defne Acerol, Doğukan Çiğdem, Genco Gülan, Güliz Baydemir and Kerem Topuz in the forms of painting, sculpture, video and installation. The "Myths and Dreams" exhibition will be open for visits at Kıraathane İstanbul Edebiyat Evi from Monday to Saturday between 11:00-19:00 until 5 September 2019.
