Laber Kimya Hosts Festival at Masal Fabrika

The Masal Fabrikada Festival, organized by Laber Kimya, is preparing to open its doors for the fourth time this year. The festival, which will take place on 27-29 September 2024 in Karakuyu Village, Torbalı, Izmir, will have the theme "Scent and Memory" this year.

The Masal Fabrikada Festival organized by Laber Kimya will take place on 27-29 September 2024 in Karakuyu Village, Torbalı, Izmir. The festival, which has become a tradition since 2021, will once again welcome participants with a rich program. The festival's theme this year has been set as "Scent and Memory". The festival will offer participants two full days of activities, storytelling, cosmetics, health and sustainability workshops, street games and discussions. At the festival, where participants will also be able to make their own creams and perfumes, many discussions and panels related to tales, myths, scent and memory will take place.

The festival, which Laber Kimya first organized in 2021, conveying the message "Can There Be Tales in a Factory?" from Torbalı, an industrial and agricultural city, to all of Turkey, will bridge the gap between the future and the past while bringing art and science together. The festival, which has become a tradition with evolving content and growing participant support each year, will begin with a procession on Sadık İleri Boulevard, followed by an opening ceremony at Metropolis Ancient City and performances by two renowned storytellers with musical accompaniment. The festival will also feature stands where independent vendors and local producers can present and sell their products.

A Sustainable Festival

The Masal Fabrikada Festival, placing sustainability principles at the forefront, will implement various practices within the framework of the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Work aimed at goals such as Clean Water and Sanitation, Responsible Consumption and Production, Climate Action, and Sustainable Cities and Communities will be an important part of the festival.
