"Life is Short, Art is Eternal" Exhibition Meets Art Lovers

He said he is opening his sixth personal exhibition and turned to painting after 36 years of textile design work.

Vural, who noted that he has been creating watercolor paintings for approximately 4 years, made the following comments on the subject:

"At first I thought I would do oil painting but my wife didn't allow it. I loved watercolor very much because I used it extensively in my professional life. I am attached to my home, my children and my family. I create these paintings." [caption id="attachment_147275" align="aligncenter"] Painter Mustafa Vural[/caption] Vural, describing how he discovered the art circles in Istanbul, said he visited an exhibition at Kelimat Art Gallery and met Adnan, the gallery director, continuing with his words as follows: "I noticed that Adnan looked at things from a very different perspective. When I mentioned that I was also creating things, he said 'let me see them'. He looked. Then he said 'would you bring these to me? Let me open an exhibition for you'. I agreed, hopefully it will be auspicious." Stating that he continues his artistic career alongside watercolor paintings through different projects, Mustafa Vural expressed that he creates paintings for hotels both domestically and abroad, and that his goal is to continue his art with new explorations.   The exhibition, featuring a total of 25 works, will be open to visitors until 15 December.
