TURKCHEM
MIX Festival brings together the most popular names from different music genres under the Zorlu PSM roof on 16-17 November, in its third edition. Over two days, the venue transforms into a non-stop dancefloor, and alongside performances, the festival offers participants a fully packed programme with accompanying side events. Polo & Pan, the striking duo from Paris's hip-hop and old-school disco club Le Baron, Mabbas, whose sets leave festival participants breathless on the dancefloor across numerous Turkish festivals, Sophie Hunger, presenting her multi-instrumentalist identity with an enchanting voice to audiences, Undo, an entertaining post-punk group from Glasgow, Losless, dynamic representatives of Techno in France, and Tender, who carry their blend of R&B and electronic music from London to the world.

Baba Zula

BaBa ZuLa, one of Turkey's most successful psychedelic music groups and with a large fanbase on the international music scene, was founded in 1996 by Levent Akman, Murat Ertel and Emre Onel. The group combines psychedelic music foundations with elements of Turkish folk music and electronic music using traditional Turkish instruments, and has also drawn attention through theatrical stage performances. BaBa ZuLa, which has garnered great appreciation abroad through events including major festivals such as Roskilde Festival, Printemps de Bourges and Now Festival, makes each concert a unique experience with their music serving as an original bridge between east and west, and their improvisational theatrical live performances.

Barış K

Barış K, a well-known figure in Istanbul's nightlife as a producer/DJ, draws inspiration from Psychedelia and local sounds in his sets that travel between genres. Having performed at Sónar Barcelona and gaining international recognition through the Istanbul 70 compilation, Barış K has recently presented himself with an improvisation project called İnsanlar. The first full-length release İnsanlar, released from Barış K's own label Aboov Plak, consists of a single approximately 24-minute track performed improvisationally called Kime Ne.
