Greek Adhesive and Sealant Manufacturers Form Association

Greek Adhesives and Sealants Producers Form Industry Association The European Adhesive & Sealant Industry Association FEICA (the Association of the European Adhesive & Sealant Industry), and Hellenic Association of Chemical Industries (HACI), are collaborating to support a newly emerging organization. On 8 December 2021, representatives of the Greek adhesives and sealants sector gathered to establish the Hellenic Adhesives and Sealant Cluster (HASC) under the HACI umbrella. As of January 2022, Greece joins many other EU countries that have a national association representing adhesive and sealant manufacturers. The inaugural meeting focused on the legal formalities of the association's establishment and the election of the first Administrative Committee. HACI General Manager Panos Scarlatos and FEICA General Secretary Kristel Ons congratulated the members on their new association and announced that they would provide continued support to this cluster. HASC currently has 12 members: H.B. Fuller Greece SAIC, Henkel Hellas SA, Mapei Hellas, Sika Hellas, Kerakoll Hellas, Alchimica Building Chemicals, Ravago Hellas S.A., Isomat S.A. Building Chemicals and Mortars, A. Elliniadis SA, Vertico, Elastotet S.A. and Bostik Hellas S.A. Ons stated, "On behalf of the FEICA Board, I welcome the Greek members to our European adhesives and sealants forum comprised of National Associations. I look forward to strengthening a productive collaboration and a sustainable future for our industry." On behalf of the HACI Board, Scarlatos extended his thanks to FEICA for their support and said, "It is the right time for adhesive and sealant manufacturers to join FEICA towards the ambitious targets of the Green Deal."
