Certified vegan label portfolio \ Avery Dennison launches first certified vegan label portfolio Avery Dennison has reached another market segment with the launch of a new certified vegan label portfolio containing no animal-derived components. Additionally, each product in the portfolio was developed without testing on animals or using animal-derived GMOs. For this reason, the collection received approval from EVE VEGAN®, an independent organization created by Vegan France that works to promote vegan alternatives across different industries, including food and pharmaceuticals. (Photos: Avery Dennison, PR465)[/caption] At launch, the collection includes six paper label facestocks, three adhesives and two release liners that can be mixed and matched according to customer requirements. Each component delivers a performance level comparable to non-vegan alternatives in both conversion and application. Plans are in place to expand the product range with additional paper label facestocks based on converter and end-user needs. Avery Dennison product manager Luuk Zonneveld states: "Veganism extends beyond diet.
