Meridian Adhesives Group Announces Major Acquisition Meridian Adhesives Group (Meridian) announced today that it has acquired Design Polymerics, a manufacturer of high-performance sealants, adhesives, indoor air quality products, and insulation mastics. Design Polymerics was acquired by Lyle Davis in 1993 and has continued to grow steadily for approximately thirty years. With its dynamic production line, commitment to sustainability principles, technical expertise, and close partnerships with its customers, Design Polymerics has become one of the leading companies in the HVAC, insulation, and indoor air quality sectors. Davis stated, "We are very excited to join the Meridian team. We believe we have found an excellent partner to continue our growth and technical experience. While expanding our production capabilities across the United States to best serve our customers, we also want to continue to be a leading company in the HVAC, insulation, and indoor air quality (IAQ) sectors by bringing innovative products to market." Design Polymerics will join Meridian's Industrial Product Assembly Department alongside American Sealants, Inc. With this acquisition, Meridian has increased the number of companies added to its portfolio through acquisitions to 17. The acquisition took place one day after American Securities announced that it had acquired Meridian from Arsenal Capital Partners.
