Two Projects at İnönü University Receive Patents

Malatya İnönü University Faculty of Science and Letters Department of Chemistry faculty member Turgay Seçkin and Faculty of Engineering Department of Civil Engineering faculty members Prof. Dr. Kazım Türk and Prof. Dr. Paki Turgut's scientific research projects have been granted Patent Certificates by the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office. Prof. Dr. Turgay Seçkin, faculty member of the Chemistry Department at İnönü University, received a patent with examination for his invention titled "A Method for Producing a Biomimetic Adhesive Material," while Prof. Dr. Kazım Türk and Prof. Dr. Paki Turgut, faculty members of the Department of Civil Engineering, successfully obtained a Patent Certificate for their invention titled "Heated Hybrid Fiber Self-Placing Concrete Slab for Prevention of Snow and Ice on Roads and Airport Runways."   Source
