Fedrigoni to Acquire UNIFOL

Fedrigoni reached an agreement to acquire UNIFOL, an Istanbul-Turkey-based company, and entered the self-adhesive automotive PVC coating film market. UNIFOL is an attractive technology player that has developed innovative, durable and long-lasting PVC films for 3D applications on large surfaces. This acquisition is part of Fedrigoni Group's strategy to continue diversifying its product range in adjacent sectors, expanding its global presence, and strengthening its position as a leading player in the global self-adhesive market. Fedrigoni Group, a leading player in the production of high-value specialty papers for luxury packaging and other creative applications, and operating in the premium labels and self-adhesive materials markets, announced it will acquire UNIFOL. UNIFOL, a global self-adhesive manufacturer based in Istanbul, was founded in 1994 by its current owners. The company has nearly eighty employees and specializes in PVC CAST technology for vehicle wrapping under the UNICAST brand. Film materials are used to protect a vehicle's body, change its color, or apply graphics. UNIFOL has made significant investments in this technology by creating state-of-the-art facilities and cutting-edge materials to provide products that comply with existing standards. This acquisition presents a perfect opportunity to enrich the already extensive offering of Fedrigoni's self-adhesive division, which already exists in the world of graphic and visual communication solutions.
