International specialty chemicals, pharmaceuticals and food ingredients distributor Biesterfeld has announced an expansion of its distribution partnership with Songwon CS, a global player in polymer stabilizers.
Under the new agreement, Biesterfeld will supply SONGNOX® CS antioxidants and SONGSORB® CS light stabilizer product groups to customers in new countries in addition to its existing markets.
Distribution Network Expands to Eastern Europe and the Balkans
With the expanded collaboration, Biesterfeld will undertake distribution of Songwon products in the following countries:
-Baltic countries: Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania
-Bulgaria, Romania, Ukraine
-Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Kosovo, North Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia, Slovenia
The companies are currently conducting successful distribution collaboration in select regions of Italy, Austria, Poland, Portugal, Switzerland, Slovakia, Spain, Czech Republic, Hungary and Germany.
Stronger Access to Paints and Adhesives Sector
Through this strategic expansion, Biesterfeld aims to further strengthen its portfolio of high-performance additives for paints, coatings and adhesive applications. Songwon, meanwhile, seeks to increase customer access in Europe and neighboring regions through Biesterfeld's local market knowledge and logistics infrastructure.
The collaboration is expected to help Songwon solutions reach a wider user base, particularly in industrial applications requiring durability, UV resistance and extended product life.
