The sustainability-focused event addressed low-carbon cement technologies, innovative solutions aimed at reducing carbon footprint and the dynamics of the Asian economy.
During technical sessions held as part of the program, Prof. Fernando Martirena, known for his work in Limestone Calcined Clay Cement (LC3), shared insights on low-carbon cement technologies and the environmental benefits LC3 would bring to the sector. The presentations emphasized that LC3 technology has the potential to significantly reduce carbon emissions compared to conventional cements.
In addition to technical content, the event also addressed cross-cultural communication and regional economic developments. Prof. Soyhan Eğitim from Toyo University provided perspectives on Japanese business culture and intercultural communication, while Prof. Kenmei Tsubota shared current information on Asian economy and regional financial dynamics.
Osman İlgen, Vice President of Saint-Gobain Construction Chemicals Turkey and Central Asia, highlighted Chryso's sustainability-focused work and noted that low-carbon solutions and LC3 technology play an important role in the sector's transformation. İlgen stated that they will continue to organize similar technical events to strengthen knowledge sharing with business partners.
