Akkim Ranks First in Sustainability Audit

Akkim has joined the ZDHC certification programme, which enables textile chemicals to be evaluated and advanced within the "Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals" framework. The company successfully completed Level 3 auditing and achieved 93.94 points, reaching the highest score in Turkey. In this era when responsible production and consumption practices for a habitable world are becoming widespread, companies are increasingly prioritizing sustainability. In industrial production, as attention to environmental and human health considerations grows, international organizations conduct audits to measure company performance in this area and report results to the public with transparency. Akkim Kimya, which places sustainability at the forefront, participated in the Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals (ZDHC) certification programme and successfully passed the audit. Akkim Kimya advanced its activities in this field one step further in line with its "Sustainable chemical management" objectives. In the ZDHC audit of textile chemicals, Akkim achieved high success with 93.94 points, obtaining the best score in Turkey. In the audit, compliance checks and tests of chemicals on the Restricted Substances in Manufacturing List were completed and the products were approved by an independent organization.
