Yılbor Continues to Expand International Activities Yılbor Boru, which operates on a 65,000-square-meter site in the Mersin-Tarsus Organized Industrial Zone, has opened its 15th overseas dealership in Turkmenistan.   Hasan Yıldırım, Board Member of the company: "Our company manufactures all products in the infrastructure and superstructure groups for the construction sector, in compliance with EN product standards and ISO 9000 standards, under the supervision of accredited laboratories. In the superstructure group we produce PVC waste water pipe & fittings, PPRC and composite pipe & fittings, and in the infrastructure group we produce PE100 and PVC potable water pipe" he said. Stating that they have an annual production capacity of 60,000 tonnes, Yıldırım said: "Our company, which operates in the field of plastic pipe manufacturing—the plastic-rubber subsector of the chemical industry, which is considered a leading sector—continues its efforts to contribute to the regional vision of 'becoming the leading region of the Eastern Mediterranean that transforms its strategic position and rich resources into value' by developing our capacity for value creation, employment and export. In addition to machinery investments aimed at increasing production capacity, our company established one of the region's most advanced laboratories in 2009 to enhance production quality and intensify R&D activities. Our in-plant laboratory was accredited by the Turkish Accreditation Board (TÜRKAK) in 2015, increasing its validity. Our company continues to acquire additional equipment each year, thereby aiming to ensure the necessary improvements in R&D infrastructure" he said.

Expressing that as a company they work to play an active role in every point of the global market, Yıldırım said: "With the dealership we opened in Turkmenistan, we will have a more active sales and marketing network in the country's market. This is our 15th overseas dealership. A continuous supply chain has been established in Turkmenistan. This will strengthen our market share and increase our market dominance through our product quality. Our export-related efforts will continue.
