New Plastic Economy Conference Being Held Sustainability Academy is holding the International New Plastic Economy Conference for the second time in Turkey, accelerating change across all areas with a circular economy vision for plastics. The conference hosts speakers and sessions that bring fresh perspectives to the circular economy discussion by focusing on latest trends, innovations and pioneering initiatives. On 23 February 2022, the New Plastic Economy Conference to be held by Sustainability Academy will host a PAGEV session on "Recycling Within the Framework of the Green Deal" between 14:30-14:55. In the session covering topics such as sustainability of plastic packaging in line with the circular economy, material and resource efficiency, relevant regulations and plastic recycling, institutions will share their work in this field with participants. The session, to be moderated by PAGEV Chairman Yavuz Eroğlu, will examine the subject from all angles with Environmental Engineer Hülya ÇAKIR from the Ministry of Environment, Urbanisation and Climate Change and SEPA Board Chairman Hakan ÖZHUY.
