Vestel cuts water use in white goods production by 31%
Vestel has reduced water consumption per unit in white goods production by 31% over the past four years as part of water resource protection efforts.

Currently, a single wash cycle with a six-kilogramme load releases approximately 700,000 fibre particles into the environment. Microfibre pollution in nature accounts for 35% from washing machine cycles. This demonstrates that white goods manufacturers bear significant responsibility in this regard.
Microfibre-filter washing machine developed
The filtration unit integrated into the washing machine lid filters the water used during wash and rinse cycles before discharge, thereby removing fibre particles. Using this developed filtration system, if all machines produced by the company in one year were equipped with this technology, approximately 50 million plastic PET bottles' worth of microfibre particles could be prevented from entering the environment. With this technology, Vestel contributes to its 'Smart Life 2030' sustainability vision. Vestel has developed numerous products and technologies aligned with its environmental protection vision. In addition to the 'Aqua Microfibre' technology washing machine that contributes to water resource protection, the 'Water Recovery System' developed by Vestel specialists enables condensed water generated during the drying cycle to be filtered and reused in the washing machine. Dishwashers equipped with the 'Water Recovery System' use clean rinse water from the previous cycle in the next cycle, achieving a wash with just 5.4 litres of water per cycle. The 'Smart Wave' technology, which sprays the water and detergent mixture from 20 different points for more efficient washing, the 'Smart Dosing' technology, which eliminates the need to add detergent and softener before each wash, and the 'Water Box' technology, which stores water used during the rinse phase, are among the standout sustainability technologies in Vestel's new G Series washing machines. Thanks to the 'Automatic Filter Cleaning' technology developed by Vestel, the filter inside dishwashers is automatically cleaned at the end of the programme.
