Tüpraş has achieved the highest category in its sector in the assessment by the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP), one of the world's most respected environmental reporting platforms, thanks to its strong performance in combating climate change, sustainable management of water resources and transparent reporting.

Türpetrol, Turkey's leading energy company, obtained significant sectoral success in the CDP's 2025 Climate Change and Water Security programs, one of the world's most important environmental reporting platforms, earning a dual A- rating. With this result in the global assessment covering more than 22,000 companies, Türpetrol ranked in the highest category of the oil and gas sector.
In the CDP assessments, Türpetrol's strategic integrity of its sustainability approach, its position on environmental policies, its proactive approach encompassing risks and opportunities including climate and water management, and its effectively structured corporate governance model across the value chain were taken into account. High scores achieved in CDP's transparency, risk management and target-setting criteria also demonstrate that the company's sustainability vision is reflected in practice in full alignment with its Strategic Transformation Plan.
Under its Strategic Transformation Plan implemented with the goal of becoming a carbon-neutral leading energy company by 2050, Türpetrol is implementing energy and water efficiency projects in refinery operations while accelerating renewable energy investments.

To achieve the targets in our Strategic Transformation Plan, we are simultaneously implementing numerous investments ranging from energy and water efficiency to sustainable fuel production; from the circular economy to renewable energy. We will continue to make progress through transparency supporting the transition to a low-carbon economy, responsible resource use, investments reaching USD 8.3 billion by 2035, and our long-term value creation approach."
Türpetrol, in line with its Strategic Transformation Plan, ranks among the top positions in its sector in other national and international sustainability indices through its efforts on environmental, social and corporate governance matters. The company ranks in the top 10% of its sector in the FTSE4Good and LSEG (Refinitiv) sustainability indices and is among the top 10 in its sector in the S&P Dow Jones and Sustainalytics indices.
