Teknopark İstanbul Offers Grant Support for Green Transformation Ideas Teknopark İstanbul is providing grant support of up to TRY 450,000 for green transformation-focused ideas through grant assistanceTeknopark İstanbul's incubation center CubeIncubation, as the implementing organization of the TÜBİTAK 1512 Entrepreneurship Support Program, has issued a call for applications from entrepreneur candidates with green transformation ideas under the BİGGCubeIncubation Program. Pre-applications for projects that will receive TRY 450,000 in grant support will be accepted until Friday, 29 July 2022. Teknopark İstanbul's incubation center CubeIncubation has invited entrepreneur candidates who wish to realize innovative business ideas focused on green growth and green transformation to benefit from the TRY 450,000 grant support provided by TÜBİTAK. Students or graduates enrolled in associate, bachelor, master's or doctoral programs at any university can apply to the BİGGCubeIncubation Program, administered by CubeIncubation, the implementing organization of the TÜBİTAK 1512 Entrepreneurship Support Program.

Teknopark İstanbul Contributes to Industry's Green Transformation

Bilal Topçu, General Director of Teknopark İstanbul, stated that CubeIncubation has produced solutions addressing the needs of the entrepreneurship ecosystem since its inception: "CubeIncubation, one of Turkey's most qualified incubation centers in terms of the infrastructure it provides to entrepreneurs and the support it offers, is expecting business ideas that will contribute to the green transformation of Turkey's economy and industry through the BIGG Green Growth program. Under the BIGG Green Growth program, entrepreneurs will be able to benefit from open and closed offices and meeting areas, seminar and event spaces, a library, wet/dry laboratories, clean rooms, assembly workshops and server rooms, as well as patent support through Teknopark İstanbul Technology Transfer Office (connectto)."

Project Developers Can Receive Mentorship Support

Through the project to be conducted in cooperation with Teknopark İstanbul, Istanbul Commerce University and Yeditepe University, entrepreneur candidates with business ideas related to the transition to a green economy will be provided with support including mentorship, access to collaboration networks, and business plan development. Innovation-focused business ideas that can be transformed into products and services with validated commercial value cover the topics of Climate Change, Environment and Biodiversity, Clean and Circular Economy, Clean, Accessible and Secure Energy Supply, Green and Sustainable Agriculture, and Sustainable Smart Transport.
