Şişecam to Develop High-Value Automotive Glass The 'Zero Emission Electric Vehicles Enabled by Harmonised Circularity' (ZEvRA) project, which counts Şişecam among its partners, has also received support from the EU's HORIZON Europe Programme. Under the project scope, Şişecam will develop competitive, low-carbon-footprint, high-value automotive glass in line with the EU's 2035 carbon-neutral target. The ZEvRA project (Zero Emission Electric Vehicles Enabled by Harmonised Circularity), launched to improve the circularity of electric light commercial vehicles and contribute to a clean and competitive future, with Şişecam among its partners, has received EUR 250,000 in support from the European Union's HORIZON Europe programme. Implemented under the coordination of the Fraunhofer Institute, Europe's largest applied sciences, research and development organisation, in line with the EU's zero-carbon emissions target set for 2035, the project will be realised with the contributions of 28 partners, including world-renowned automotive companies such as Skoda, Citroen, Peugeot, Toyota and Volkswagen. Under the project scope, Şişecam plans to produce competitive, low-carbon-footprint, high-value automotive glass in line with its sustainability targets.
