Alanya Municipality's "Award-Winning Zero Waste Starts in the Kitchen Competition" Enters Final Week
The "Zero Waste Starts in the Kitchen" competition, organized by Alanya Municipality to raise awareness about the role and importance of citizens in the zero waste project, has entered its final week.
Following strong interest in the competition and requests from many citizens, the deadline for the award-winning competition was extended. Following the conclusion of applications accepted until 31 December, winners will be determined and awarded.

Alanya Municipality Council Member Didem Dim Özaltın invited citizens to participate in the competition.
Stating that the competition, which is entering its final week, is of great importance for public and environmental health, Didem Dim Özaltın said, "I invite everyone to the Zero Waste Starts in the Kitchen Competition. With zero waste, transform, change your future."
Citizens can apply to the Award-Winning Zero Waste Competition by calling the Alanya Municipality Solution Desk. Following registration, teams visit homes to collect accumulated waste from participants' doors, allowing citizens to enter the competition.
The Zero Waste Starts in the Kitchen Competition, which will run for one month, will have its winner determined by jury members. At an awards ceremony to be held at the Cultural Center on 11 January 2023, prize winners will receive their awards. The jury will evaluate waste quantities by weight.
The first 22 participants ranking among those submitting the most waste will receive small electronic household appliances, and the first 200 will receive cleaning supply sets.
