Siemens Turkey continues to "transform today for the future" by placing sustainability at the center of its company culture across all processes. Siemens Turkey, which has made significant contributions to reducing carbon footprint through tailor-made energy efficiency projects developed for companies, has achieved annual carbon emission reductions of approximately 1,050 tons with a savings rate of approximately 12 percent through two new energy efficiency projects implemented with Şevkat Emprime Boya. Siemens Turkey continues to provide significant contributions to the economy by advancing its customers and the country toward carbon neutrality targets through specialized energy efficiency projects developed for the needs of different sectors. In this context, Siemens Turkey, accelerating its work without interruption, has implemented two new energy efficiency projects with Şevkat Emprime Boya, an experienced and successful representative of the Turkish ready-made apparel industry in international markets. Through the project implemented at Şevkat Emprime Boya, energy efficiency work was carried out through the renewal of inefficiently operating systems and waste heat recovery. While the projects achieved natural gas savings, carbon emissions were reduced by approximately 1,050 tons annually, corresponding to the targeted savings rate of approximately 12 percent. With the project completed in as little as 1.5 years, the facility's energy import dependence was reduced by 5,000 MWh annually. In addition to technical consulting services for both projects, Siemens Turkey also provided financing support through Siemens Financial Leasing Inc.

Through the project we designed based on the information we obtained, we achieved both increased energy savings and recovery of potential energy at Şevkat Emprime Boya. As part of the projects at Siemens Turkey that we present with warranty guarantee on results, installation of a waste hot water recovery system and revision of the automation systems of two ramö machines were also carried out."
