Sanofi Consumer Healthcare North America Earns B Corp Certification for Environmental and Social Impact
Sanofi Consumer Healthcare North America has earned B Corp Certification in recognition of its efforts in environmental sustainability and social impact. This prestigious designation, awarded by B Lab, a nonprofit third-party organization, recognizes companies as leaders in the global movement for a fair and sustainable economy.
Sanofi Consumer Healthcare North America is the first major consumer health company to earn this certification. The company's products including Allegra®, Icy Hot®, Dulcolax® and Unisom® are present in approximately 54 million households in the United States and Canada.
B Lab evaluates a company's comprehensive social and environmental impact, and B Corp Certification demonstrates that a company maintains high standards of performance, accountability and transparency in these areas.

- Eliminating 35 tons of plastic packaging annually by removing plastic windows from Allegra®, Nasacort® and other products as part of its goal to reduce the environmental footprint of products and increase packaging recyclability. - Reducing operational (Scope 1 and 2) greenhouse gas emissions from its North America manufacturing facility by 77% since 2019 as part of its goal to build a pathway to carbon neutrality across all scopes by 2030 and net-zero emissions by 2045. - Powering its North America manufacturing and distribution facilities with 100% renewable electricity as part of its goal to achieve this criterion for all global manufacturing operations by 2025. - Achieving 41% representation of women in senior leadership roles as part of its goal to reach 50/50 gender parity in senior leadership positions by 2025. - Renovating basketball courts in under-resourced communities through the Icy Hot and Shaquille O'Neal Foundation "Comebaq Courts" initiative. - Providing access to organized sports opportunities for Canadian youth facing socio-economic barriers through partnership with KidSport Canada as part of its global goal to reach 5 million people by 2030 through on-site programs.
