Regal Food Products Acquires Packaging 'R' Us

Regal Food Products Group Plc, which owns Regal Foods and Yorkshire Baking Company, has acquired Packaging 'R' Us for an undisclosed consideration. This acquisition marks the group's first venture outside the food and beverage sector. Packaging 'R' Us is an established catering supplier specializing in a range of disposable food packaging solutions, including foil containers, aluminium foil, disposable kitchenware and plastic containers. This acquisition aligns with the company's long-term vision to expand and strengthen its wholesale and food service portfolio, while offering a diverse product range across its brand portfolio. Regal has recognized the importance of being a one-stop solution for its customers, particularly following the challenges created by Covid-19 and Brexit, and has focused on delivering varied services including finished products, materials and now packaging.
