RadiciGroup Opens New Plant in China

RadiciGroup Opens New Factory in China RadiciGroup's industrial site in Suzhou, China has officially opened. The industrial site will double polymer production capacity while also strengthening the group's presence in the Asian market. The group opened its first factory in Jiangsu province in 2006 and has been conducting production activities in China since then. In 2012, RadiciGroup relocated to a larger area and began construction of its new facility from scratch.

EUR 35 Million Investment in New Complex

RadiciGroup invested EUR 35 million in the development of the new complex, which is built on 36,000 square meters of land, approximately half of which is occupied by production and research and development facilities. The new complex includes rest offices, meeting rooms and common areas as well as gardens and parking areas.

Features Most Advanced Green Building Technologies

The state-of-the-art complex holds LEED Gold (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification and features the most advanced green building technologies available today. This international standard for high-performance green buildings includes parameters such as benefits for the environment and human health, reduced water consumption, energy efficiency, and the use of environmentally friendly building materials and solutions. Notable features of the Suzhou site include the establishment of a continuous monitoring system to ensure the building's energy efficiency, rooftop solar panels to generate renewable energy, and a rainwater recycling system to meet the site's water needs. The facility has also obtained GBL-2 Star certification, a sustainable building standard that demonstrates China's focus on green building solutions. Source
