PepsiCo Raises Awareness on Sustainability PepsiCo Turkey conducted numerous activities with employees on World Environment Day, raising awareness on environmental sustainability. PepsiCo, one of the world's largest food and beverage companies, continues to work in line with the PepsiCo Positive strategy to contribute to the creation of a sustainable food system by inspiring positive change for the planet and people while taking into account planetary boundaries. PepsiCo implements numerous initiatives for a more sustainable life through the PepsiCo Positive strategy, which is shaped around three core pillars: Positive Agriculture, Positive Value Chain and Positive Choices. Within this approach aimed at a circular and inclusive sustainable economy, PepsiCo undertakes significant environmental and social projects, embraces volunteering and supports its employees in making a difference in the communities where they live and work. On World Environment Day, PepsiCo conducted numerous awareness-raising activities with its employees in Turkey. Throughout the week, PepsiCo Turkey employees participated in webinars on sustainability and, in collaboration with ÇEVKO, conducted environmental cleanup activities simultaneously in two different regions, and visited shelters in cooperation with Haytap. At the webinars held, Esra İren, Senior Director of Sustainability at PepsiCo Turkey, shared with company employees the work PepsiCo is undertaking to build a sustainable food system, help restore the planet and mitigate the effects of climate change. Esra İren emphasized the importance of sustainable production and resources through a circular economy approach for the future of the planet. Within the scope of the events, details of the 'Lay's Regenerative Agriculture' project, implemented with the support of the PepsiCo Foundation and in collaboration with Anadolu Meraları, were presented. Taking important steps for our planet and its future in all its activities, PepsiCo demonstrated its commitment and determination on this matter once again through the events it organized.
