PAGÇEV Plastic Recycling Awards now open for applications

Applications for the 2024 PAGÇEV Plastic Recycling Awards have opened. These prestigious awards are open to applications from brand owners, manufacturers, retailers, product designers, packaging manufacturers and designers, raw material suppliers, plastic recycling machinery manufacturers and recycled plastic product suppliers across the entire value chain. In cooperation with TÜYAP and PAGÇEV Green Transformation and Technology Association, the RePlast Eurasia Plastic Recycling Fair will be organized for the first time in Turkey and will also host Turkey's first PAGÇEV Plastic Recycling Awards. The winners of the awards to be given in 7 different categories will be announced at the RePLast Eurasia Fair to be held between 2-4 May 2024. The PAGÇEV Plastic Recycling Awards will be a platform that will recognize not only raw material and technology producers in the field of plastic recycling, but also products made from recycled raw materials. The awards will provide insight into current developments in recycled material use, product design and manufacturing, while also inspiring wide audiences. PAGÇEV invites brand owners, manufacturers, retailers, product designers, packaging manufacturers and designers, raw material suppliers, plastic recycling technology manufacturers and recycled plastic product suppliers across the entire value chain to participate in these prestigious awards. Products that make it to the finals will be displayed in a dedicated area at the RePlast Eurasia Fair held at Istanbul TÜYAP on 2-4 May 2024. Following evaluation by a jury composed of experts in the field, winners will be announced at an awards ceremony held during the event.   The seven award categories covering key areas of plastic recycling innovation and major market applications towards circular use of plastics are: • Automotive, Electrical or Electronic Products • Building and Construction Products • Home and Entertainment Products • Plastic Packaging Product • Innovation in Product Technology • Innovation in Recycling Machinery • Plastic Recycling Ambassador The PAGÇEV Plastic Recycling Awards will become a national standard in recognizing innovation in circular use of plastics. The awards will motivate industry players to further increase the use of recycled plastics and accelerate the achievement of recycling targets. Among the criteria that nominees must meet are: products and innovations must be designed, developed or manufactured in Turkey, products must contain at least 25% recycled content, and all applications must promote sustainability, circular economy and zero waste policies. The awards will undertake an important mission to motivate industry players to further increase recycled plastic use and accelerate achievement of recycling targets. The final application deadline is Friday, 8 March 2024. Industrial representatives who believe their work is not limited to a single category may apply to multiple categories separately.
