Nouryon Publishes Sustainability Report

Nouryon published its second annual Sustainability Report, which summarizes the company's global sustainability activities, performance and results for 2020.

• Nouryon's new company strategy and values integrated sustainability further and complemented the existing company purpose: "Your partner in essential chemistry for a sustainable future,"
• Based on its first materiality assessment, Nouryon introduced a new Sustainability framework called 'Nouryon's Commitment to a Sustainable Future,' which aligns with the UN Sustainable Development Goals and supports the targets of the UN's Paris Agreement on climate change;
• 33% of Nouryon's 2020 revenue came from Eco-Premium Solutions, while 21% was generated from direct customer benefit sales of these solutions. Last year, Nouryon launched numerous new sustainable products including antiviral paint coatings, bio-based products replacing synthetic polymers, products reducing air emissions, biodegradable crop protection components and cool roof coatings providing energy savings through reduced reflectivity.
