## Quality and Lean Manufacturing with Model Factory

Model Factory for Quality and Lean Production Industrialists from Izmir, one of the most important production centers for the Turkish plastics and packaging sectors, visited the Model Factory, which was established through initiatives of the Aegean Region Chamber of Industry and Izmir Chamber of Commerce. The Model Factory, built in Gaziemir with support from the European Union, aims to meet companies' demands in Lean Transformation and Digital Transformation through professional staff. In his assessment of the visit, Şener Gençer, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Aegean Plastics Manufacturers Association (EGEPLASDER) and Vice Chairman of the Plastics Manufacturers Federation (PLASFED), noted that the Model Factory is a key stakeholder for companies experiencing challenges in Quality and Lean Production.

Dinamik Isı Shared Its Experience

Gençer noted that Alp Akdaş, General Director of Dinamik Isı, an EGEPLASDER Corporate Member that has signed important cooperation agreements with the Model Factory, shared his experience, saying: "Our Board Member Alp was pleased and informed to see best practice examples directly related to our sector. We would like to extend our thanks to Model Factory Director Osman Arslan, who hosted us during our visit and informed us with his comprehensive presentation and explanation. While thanking the Aegean Region Chamber of Industry and İzmir Chamber of Commerce for creating this unique facility, we would also like to announce that we will organize new tour programs for all our members to visit and experience the facility."
