Masdaf's Water's Journal Event Held
Masdaf Held Water Diary Event
Masdaf hosted future engineers at its Tuzla facility for the "Water Diary" event, organized to promote effective management of water resources.
Masdaf, which has shaped the pump sector for half a century with innovative and efficient pump systems, welcomed 3rd and 4th year students from Istanbul Technical University's Mechanical Engineering Department at the "Water Diary" event organized on 22 March World Water Day.
The organization, held at Masdaf's Tuzla facility on 15 March with contributions from ITU Machinery Club, shared important information on "effective management of water resources" across many areas ranging from residential use to industry, agriculture to power plants.
Following presentations, students had the opportunity to view Masdaf pump technologies up close in the showroom and learn about their operating principles. During the factory tour, they received information about the production processes of tanks, hydrophor units and pump groups.
"The negative effects of the global climate crisis on water resources threaten sustainable living," said Masdaf Sales and Marketing Director Barış Geren, continuing: "In the efficient use of water resources, pump systems that manage water hold critical importance.
Masdaf aims to ensure that water resources reach future generations safely through the innovative pump technologies we have produced for half a century. At this point, another issue we value as much as our R&D activities is social responsibility projects. As a company, we support all kinds of projects that will promote efficient use of water resources. We aim to raise awareness on what can be done in this regard.
Managing water properly can yield savings of up to 50 percent
The "Water Diary" event we organized as part of 22 March World Water Day is among the projects we have implemented with our social responsibility vision. In this context, by hosting future engineer candidates at our facility, we shared information about the critical role of pump systems in the efficient use of energy and water resources. Because effective management of water resources makes it possible to achieve savings of up to 50 percent. For this reason, awareness must be created in society for effective water management. At this point, future engineers have great responsibilities. However, raising awareness by educating future engineers today for our tomorrow is our responsibility as industrialists," he said.Advertisement
