Marco Rubber & Plastics Acquires American Seal & Packing

Marco Rubber & Plastics, the specialty sealing solutions provider backed by Align Capital Partners, has acquired American Seal & Packing (AS&P), a distributor of custom O-rings, gaskets, seals and vee packing focused on specialty graphite-based products. Based in Santa Ana, CA, AS&P serves more than 750 customers in aerospace, utilities, oil and gas, chemicals and wastewater end markets, primarily through its online distribution platform. Founded by David Steadman in 1989, AS&P will continue in its role to ensure a successful transition.   David Steadman, Owner and President of AS&P, said: "We are excited to combine our strengths with Marco, a market leader that shares AS&P's vision of delivering high-quality products and customer service and recognizes the potential of e-commerce in our industry."   AS&P provides additional growth opportunities in existing end markets while expanding Marco's product depth and customer base. Marco will continue to pursue strategic acquisitions to expand the company's current product range and geographic reach.
