L'Oreal Named Sustainability Leader for 6th Consecutive Time

L'Oreal Named Corporate Sustainability Leader for Sixth Consecutive Year L'Oreal has been named to the prestigious 'A List' by CDP for its work on climate change, water security and forest protection, becoming the only company worldwide to achieve the top corporate sustainability ranking for six consecutive years.

L'Oreal Only Company to Achieve Triple-A Score Six Years Running in Environmental Leadership

L'Oréal continues to lead globally in corporate environmental targets, actions and transparency through significant and measurable initiatives against climate risks, water security risks and deforestation. 12,000 companies were scored this year based on data submitted through CDP surveys. Among these, L'Oreal is the sole company to have achieved a triple-A score for six consecutive years, cementing its leadership position. CDP uses a detailed and independent methodology to evaluate companies, assigning grades from A to D based on the disclosure of environmental risks, awareness, management, and demonstration of best practices in environmental leadership such as setting ambitious and meaningful targets. As a result of this assessment, L'Oreal is the only company to have achieved a triple-A score six consecutive times. L'Oreal has set ambitious science-based targets for 2030 that align with Planetary Boundaries, in line with its longstanding commitment to sustainability and as part of the L'Oréal for the Future programme, which ensures that its operations are compatible with planetary limits. L'Oréal CEO Nicolas Hieronimus commented on the matter.

This year, 14 companies obtained a triple 'A', which is a powerful symbol that together we can be a strong force for transformation. Together, we must continue to go further and faster to address the world's most urgent environmental challenges.
