KPMG Turkey Enters Major Partnership with Salesforce
Turkish companies are planning investments nearly twice the global average, and KPMG Türkiye has signed an important partnership with Salesforce, one of the world's leading cloud-based software companies, to guide them and provide data-driven solutions they will need.
Among today's most significant global risks, sustainability agendas—led by climate change—are affecting organizations of all sizes substantially. Reporting of non-financial data is gaining increasing importance among all stakeholders, particularly investors, as it may affect future revenues.
According to the Global Sustainable Investment Alliance (GSIA) report, global sustainable investments exceeded USD 35 trillion in 2021, and forecasts indicate sustainable investments will reach USD 50 trillion by 2025.
Continuing to strengthen through global partnerships to support customers' digital transformation, KPMG Türkiye's partnership with US-based cloud software company Salesforce will enable companies operating in Turkey to harness the power of data to direct sustainability investments.
The Net Zero Cloud platform delivered through the KPMG and Salesforce partnership consolidates sustainability reporting in a single source, accelerating the process.
With Net Zero Cloud, companies' emissions data are collected and organized for both audit and management review purposes; and visualized through dynamic reports and dashboards.
This enables decision-makers to easily analyze emissions related to energy use through a single and reliable source, understand the carbon footprint related to supply chain emissions, and develop an action plan. Subsequently, they can take the necessary steps to reduce emissions toward carbon neutrality.

Companies will have the opportunity to manage environmental impacts on a data-driven basis KPMG Türkiye Information Technology Consulting Director Engin Şayan provided the following comments regarding the partnership:
"Our planet now more than ever needs people to take action on sustainability. Not just individuals, but companies too are increasingly aware of this situation. Indeed, KPMG's 2021 Global CEO Survey confirms this with figures. Thirty percent of global CEOs and 68 percent of Turkish CEOs indicate they plan to invest more than 10 percent of their revenues toward a more sustainable future. While Turkish companies plan investments nearly twice the global average, we have signed an important partnership with Salesforce, one of the world's leading cloud-based software companies in this field, to guide them and provide the data-driven solutions they will need. With the Net Zero Cloud solution we will deliver, our clients will better understand and interpret their data and will have the opportunity to manage their environmental impacts more accurately on their sustainability journey. We believe everyone needs to take urgent action for a livable future, and we hope all companies will join us on this journey."Advertisement
