İşbir Yatak Introduces Eco-Friendly Production Technology

İşbir Yatak recently implemented a new machinery investment to increase overall product quality and support the circular economy with environmentally conscious production practices. Within this scope, the brand has incorporated next-generation technologies that respect the environment and human health into its production lines, and announced that it continues production with water-based adhesive technology Viscostar Aqua Fixing®, one of these technologies. Developed in compliance with environmental protection protocols established by governments and equipped with necessary certifications, this technology meets both current and future needs through its eco-friendly and human health-friendly properties.

Product Durability, High Efficiency in Production

Water-based adhesive, which emerges as next-generation adhesive technology, is used in the production of a select number of brands in the sector through various techniques, but İşbir Yatak stands out as the first brand in Turkey to incorporate this technology into production lines as an integrated system. Tests conducted show that water-based adhesive delivers high efficiency in sponge-layered mattresses. In its initial application, the ViscoStar mattress production uses this technology, which contains no solvents. Thanks to its elastic structure, Viscostar Aqua Fixing® is easy to apply and has high adhesive capability, providing excellent retention after thermal treatment. The adhesive has high resistance to weather variations and provides durability against deterioration in high and low temperatures. The technology is human health and environment-friendly in waste management terms, produces no noise during the involuntary movements people make throughout the night, and offers ease of use through its odorless composition. This ecology-friendly technology free of chemical waste minimizes material loss, protects the environment, and contributes to the economy.

We are currently beginning to use this technology in our ViscoStar group mattresses, and we plan to apply it to our different mattress groups in the coming period."
