The project targets the reduction of water loss in the chemical manufacturing, chemical products manufacturing and non-metallic mineral products manufacturing industries in the Marmara Region. In this way, it aims to slow the destructive effects of climate change affecting the entire world and increase resilience against them.
As part of the project, analyses will be conducted on water consumption in production processes for companies operating in the relevant sectors. Additionally, with the aim of raising awareness on water management, examination of best practice examples being pursued in Europe and dissemination of these experiences are planned.
İMMİB aims to contribute to more sustainable futures by raising the awareness level of companies and the country regarding water consumption, which plays an important role in the process of adaptation to climate change.
