Eco-Friendly Technologies from Young Entrepreneurs At the 30Below Climate Summit organized by the Turkish Ministry of Youth and Sports to raise awareness about climate change, young entrepreneurs from Teknopark Istanbul came together in a panel titled "Young Entrepreneurs Speaking: Eco-Friendly Technologies," moderated by Teknopark Istanbul General Manager Bilal Topçu. In his opening speech at the 30Below Climate Summit, organized by the Turkish Ministry of Youth and Sports at Zorlu PSM to draw attention to climate change, one of the biggest issues of our time, Turkish Minister of Youth and Sports Dr. Mehmet Muharrem Kasapoğlu stressed that environmental awareness requires a corporate approach: "The environment is a trust for all of us. We will carry this trust today and pass it on to future generations tomorrow. From a human perspective, disrupting this balance is a violation of law. Environmental awareness and sensitivity are always on our agenda. Come, produce, develop ideas and let us support them." The first technopark to receive zero-waste certification

At the event, Teknopark Istanbul General Manager Bilal Topçu moderated the panel titled "Young Entrepreneurs Speaking: Eco-Friendly Technologies." Bilal Topçu stated that Teknopark Istanbul has an eco-friendly approach in its architectural design and was the first technopark to earn zero-waste certification, explaining: "We continue our work with the motto of working for the environment, not against it. Efficient energy use and increasing the share of renewable energy sources in energy consumption are among Teknopark Istanbul's primary missions."

Teknopark Istanbul entrepreneurs work on environmentally friendly products

General Manager Bilal Topçu noted that Teknopark Istanbul is firmly carrying out production and R&D work to combat the climate crisis, and directed questions to young entrepreneurs working on environmental issues to give them an opportunity to explain their projects in more detail. At the panel, Buz Proje Mühendislik A.Ş. Founder Senior Environmental Engineer Deniz Ünlü, who operates with a vision to produce technological and domestic solutions in clean energy and environment; Soyl-Gel Co-Founder Ogeday Rodop, who aims to reduce water consumption in agriculture and increase efficiency; and Move On Founder and CEO Ömer Faruk Koç, who works on artificial intelligence-based agricultural technologies, presented their projects.
