According to data from the International Energy Agency (IEA), buildings account for approximately 30 percent of final energy consumption worldwide. As the European Union pursues its target to reduce carbon emissions by 55 percent by 2030, the transition toward low-carbon technologies is accelerating, with energy-efficient air conditioning systems ranking among the most important components of this transformation.
Form Şirketler Grubu aims to increase energy efficiency in buildings and industrial facilities through its solution portfolio ranging from central and individual air conditioning systems to industrial applications. The Group pursues renewable energy use in its own operations and efficiency-focused work in manufacturing processes, while contributing to customers' carbon reduction targets through heat pumps, heat recovery systems, and high-efficiency air conditioning solutions.

"Air Conditioning Systems Play Key Role in Low-Carbon Transition"
Tunç Korun, Chairman of the Board of Form Şirketler Grubu, stated that global climate targets are accelerating the sector's transformation:
"The transition to high energy efficiency and low-carbon technologies is becoming increasingly important with each passing day. Air conditioning systems directly affect the energy performance of buildings and industrial facilities, playing a critical role in reducing carbon emissions. We believe that the COP31 Summit to be held in Turkey this year will raise awareness about low-carbon transition."
Korun shared the following information regarding Form Group's sustainability efforts:
"In line with our 2030 Carbon Zero target, we are implementing a comprehensive transformation from product development through our manufacturing processes. We support our customers' sustainability goals with energy-efficient air conditioning systems, heat pumps, heat recovery applications, and domestic manufacturing solutions. Thanks to the solar power plant we have put into operation at our İzmir facility, we generate approximately 1.5 times our annual energy needs, preventing approximately 285 tons of CO₂ equivalent emissions annually. In the coming period, we will continue to expand our renewable energy investments, efficiency improvements in manufacturing, and environmentally friendly product portfolio."
In today's environment of rising energy costs and sustainability expectations, energy-efficient air conditioning technologies increase operational efficiency for businesses while making a significant contribution to reducing carbon footprint. Form Şirketler Grubu continues to contribute to this transformation process through the low-carbon solutions it has developed.
