Danfoss Brings Together Industry Leaders

Danfoss Türkiye Climate Solutions business unit brought together industry leaders through a meeting organized for leading business partners operating in the OEM industry in the Turkish market. The event, held on 11-12 December 2023, hosted important knowledge sharing on energy efficiency, environmentally friendly technologies and green energy transition. Danfoss Türkiye Climate Solutions business unit gathered with leading OEM industry business partners in the region and Turkey in Sapanca to evaluate 2023 under the motto of "Energy Transformation" within the scope of developed technologies and applications, and to discuss future plans. The meeting, which included more than 80 participants, drew interest from chiller and rooftop air conditioning manufacturers operating in the cooling sector, brands playing an active role in the cooling sector on a global scale, companies engaged in production and sales in cold room technologies, condenser group manufacturers, and food retail refrigerator cabinet manufacturers.

Energy transformation as the main agenda

During the meeting, energy transformation, transition to green energy and energy efficiency topics were conveyed to business partners, while Danfoss's full compliance with all current and future regulations in the sector's transformation was emphasized. The meeting discussed Danfoss's position in global and local markets and future strategies. Danfoss managers gave presentations to help business partners improve their experiences and processes. In addition, Application Development Centers, Danfoss Academy, Inspection Center and Smart Supermarket Store solutions were discussed in detail.

Growth opportunities highlighted

Danfoss Türkiye Middle East and Africa Region Climate Solutions Senior Sales Director and Danfoss Türkiye General Manager Mert Kalafatoğlu conveyed to the audience Danfoss's renewable energy and energy efficiency policies committed by 2030 in global operations. Kalafatoğlu emphasized decarbonization, circularity, diversity and inclusivity in this direction. Danfoss Türkiye OEM & Food Retail Sales Director Sertan Genç spoke about Danfoss's history since 1933, its sales organizations in more than 100 countries, and its operations with more than 42,000 employees across approximately 100 factories in 20 countries. Additionally, growth opportunities related to 2024 strategies were highlighted. Heat exchangers, electronic controllers, heating valves, BOCK series compressors in Danfoss's product range and data center applications were examined. In the event, which also included participation from the Danfoss Drives business unit, Danfoss Türkiye Sales Director Cem Üstgel, Danfoss Türkiye Logistics Manager Metin Evren, Danfoss Türkiye Customer Service Manager Begüm Pınar and Danfoss Türkiye Finance Manager Erol Yıldız also shared their presentations with participants on strategic planning and process improvements. It was emphasized that Danfoss not only produces solutions for a single purpose, but is also a brand that produces and develops end-to-end innovative solutions needed. At the event, YouTuber and Columnist Murat Muratoğlu spoke to participants about global and local economic, financial and social developments. With interactive participation from Danfoss business partners, future investments and global trends were evaluated. The meeting continued with a Wall-team event that strengthened the power of teamwork. Danfoss business partners formed teams among themselves to create an engaging engineering project. The team that prepared the most creative project and completed the competition in first place was awarded a medal.
