AstraZeneca Turkey Receives Award for Zero Carbon Working Group

AstraZeneca Türkiye has won the Gold Award in the "Communication and Public Relations Campaign of the Year – Internal Communications" category at the Stevie International Business Awards. Winners of the prestigious business awards program, which evaluates international professionals and companies, will receive their awards at a live ceremony on 8 December to be held on a digital platform. AstraZeneca Türkiye has achieved a significant success at the Stevie International Business Awards, considered one of the world's most prestigious award organizations, where more than 3,700 projects from 68 countries and regions are evaluated, and won the Gold Award in the "Communication and Public Relations Campaign of the Year – Internal Communications" category with its Zero Carbon Working Group. With its 'Ambition Zero Carbon' strategy, AstraZeneca aims to accelerate its current targets in combating climate change and sustainability and to double renewable energy production. The company will use renewable energy sources in both electricity and heat consumption to reduce carbon emissions to zero by 2025. In line with this strategy, AstraZeneca Türkiye also organizes various awareness-raising activities, workshops, seminars and training programs within the company through its Zero Carbon Working Group. Through all these interactively organized activities, the aim is to increase employee awareness and to help them adopt nature and environment-friendly habits in both their work and personal lives.
