As a pioneer of sustainable recycling systems in Turkey, ÇEVKO Foundation is disseminating information on recycling packaging waste generated in our daily lives through 7 educational videos it has prepared. ÇEVKO Foundation has published 7 training videos on its YouTube channel regarding the recovery of packaging waste made from glass, plastic, metal, composite, paper/cardboard and wood materials through recycling. Not Waste, But Value for Environment and Economy

Within the daily rhythm of modern life, we continuously generate packaging waste in our homes and workplaces. Glass jars, plastic beverage, yogurt, detergent and shampoo containers, metal beverage cans and oil tins; paper-cardboard boxes and cartons, composite milk and juice boxes or wooden packaging crates... Although all of these may appear as garbage when viewed thoughtlessly, they can actually be valued as resources that contribute to the environment, economy and social development. The packaging of products we use in our daily lives can be returned to the economy as raw materials through recycling; in this way, both resource conservation and environmental protection are achieved. ÇEVKO Foundation General Secretary Mete İmer stated: "Recycling is a process that begins in our homes and workplaces. Enabling waste to be re-evaluated as raw material, that is, separately accumulating our waste for recycling, is among our responsibilities to nature, the future and the national economy. We can accumulate recoverable waste separately from other waste, for example in the kitchen and bathroom. While accumulating, removing gross dirt from packaging waste and reducing their volume will increase the efficiency of collection and recycling. We can place the recoverable waste we have accumulated in blue packaging waste bins in our neighborhood or give them to municipal workers in blue waste bags. If there are glass bins in our neighborhood, it is recommended that we place only glass bottles and jars in them. If our municipality does not collect recoverable waste separately, that is, has not switched to dual collection systems, we should request this service from them because municipalities have been obligated to provide this service since 2005."

Emphasizing the importance of creating a recycling culture in society, Mete İmer stated: "Since its foundation, ÇEVKO Foundation has been conducting educator training in schools, providing information in homes and workplaces, publishing special publications, organizing children's theater events, and carrying out media communications activities for the purpose of educating and raising awareness among individuals. We believe that the training videos we have prepared will support the dissemination of recycling culture."
