Abdi İbrahim's 5th Sustainability Report Receives Platinum Award
Abdi İbrahim, operating in the pharmaceutical sector for 110 years with the aim of improving life, has won a significant international award with its 5th Sustainability Report.
The 5th Sustainability Report, titled "Journey of Healing from Past to Future," was awarded the Platinum Award, the highest award in the Annual Report category at Muse Creative Awards 2022, where the world's most creative ideas and projects are evaluated.
Abdi İbrahim's sustainability work, to which it attaches great importance, continues to bring prestigious awards. The 5th Sustainability Report of Abdi İbrahim, covering the 2019-2020 period, in which it disclosed its contributions to the world, society, economy and the pharmaceutical sector, as well as its targets, was deemed worthy of the Platinum Award, the highest award in the Annual Report category at Muse Creative Awards 2022, which ranks among the world's most prestigious creativity awards.
At MUSE Creative Awards, organized by International Awards Associates (IAA) since 2015, more than 6,000 projects from around the world competed this year. An international jury consisting of nearly 40 independent professionals evaluated the projects according to criteria such as creativity, concept, content, visuals, design, innovation, functionality, impact and memorability.

A report with high aesthetic value, holistic and functional design
The Sustainability Report of Abdi İbrahim, the content of which was structured in light of sustainability work such as GRI standards, the European Green Deal and the UN's 17 Sustainable Development Goals, as well as Materiality Analysis and Organizational Life Cycle Analysis (O-LCA) conducted with stakeholder participation, nine strategic themes were determined for its design under the headings "past" and "future." The message "Journey of Healing from Past to Future" was visualized through collages addressing these nine themes. In visual references of Abdi İbrahim's past, present and future vision, collages bearing traces from the past were framed with the visual language of today's digital world. The illustrations on the cover and separators of the report, prepared by the "Editorial" team, were designed by renowned collage artist "Selman Hoşgör." The photographs of Abdi İbrahim's facilities and headquarters featured in the report were taken by renowned architectural photographer "Cemal Emden." The Report, in which Abdi İbrahim's systematic and comprehensive projects, performance and targets pursued in the corporate, environmental, social and governance areas for 2019-2020, and its targets are transmitted in a transparent manner, is compatible with the digital world, has a horizontal format, is user-friendly and features interactive elements. The Report, enriched with corporate videos, films and links to web pages, stakeholder views, icons and infographics, attracts attention with high aesthetic value and holistic and functional design elements. Abdi İbrahim entered the NFT world with works designed by Selman Hoşgör in its sustainability report and created a collection called "The Journey Of Healing" on the OpenSea platform, setting a first in the global pharmaceutical sector. Abdi İbrahim will transfer the revenue it will obtain from this NFT collection to the Contemporary Life Support Association's "I Have a Daughter in Anatolia" project to support girls' education. Through this step, Abdi İbrahim aims to contribute to the development of strong women of the future and increase public awareness regarding equal access to the right to education and for all students to have access to contemporary education without discrimination.
