Berko İlaç modernizes production processes with "Berkovan" project.Berko İlaç, which aims to conduct production more rapidly and efficiently for public health needs, has launched its new project. For over thirty-five years, Berko İlaç has worked and produced with the vision of "Healthy Tomorrows" for public health. The company is now introducing innovation in its production processes. Within the project scope, Berko İlaç is redesigning new layout plans on its production lines through collaboration between the production department, technical services, quality assurance, regulatory affairs and production planning departments, reorganizing discontinuous production lines in accordance with "Lean Manufacturing" principles. Berko İlaç, which aims to conduct production more rapidly and efficiently for public health needs, seeks to achieve improvements through Berkovan in numerous areas including capacity increase at its Production Facilities, minimizing workload and time losses during the transfer of semi-finished products to subsequent production stages, and substantially increasing equipment and process efficiency. Regarding the contributions of the Berkovan project to production processes, Berko İlaç Plant Manager Oben Baykal stated the following: "Our company, which produces and works for public health, aims with its new project to increase capacity at our Production Facilities and improve process and personnel efficiency.
