4th Process Safety Symposium and Exhibition

4th Process Safety Symposium and Exhibition 2-3 May 2023 at Kocaeli Congress Centre Kocaeli Chamber of Industry will hold the 4th Process Safety Symposium and Exhibition on 2-3 May 2023 at Kocaeli Congress Centre. The Process Safety Symposium and Exhibition, which brought the sector together for the third time in 2022, will contribute to industry development in 2023 through presentations and conferences by leading experts and serve as a meeting point for sector professionals.  

Strong Interest in Process Safety Symposium and Exhibition

The third symposium, organized under the coordination of Kocaeli Chamber of Industry and organized by Chem Media/Artkim Group, was met with strong interest from sector professionals. This comprehensive event, which lasted two days and attracted over 2,000 visitors, evaluated 'Process Safety', which is of major importance for Turkey's future, across all aspects in 5 sessions and 26 presentations. In the symposium programme where regulations, applications, technical knowledge, R&D, products and services related to process safety were shared with the sector, topics such as SEVESO III Directive, ATEX Directives, Pressure Equipment, CLP Regulation/GHS Regulation, REACH Regulation/CLPD Regulation and the Impact of Digital Transformation on Process Safety were discussed within the framework of measures to be taken to ensure continuous protection. The Ministry of Labor and Social Security, the Ministry of Environment, Urbanisation and Climate Change and the Ministry of Industry and Technology, as well as over 50 non-governmental organizations and industrial companies supported this event.  

Exhibition and Commercial Workshop Area Flooded with Visitors

In the exhibition area featuring sector stakeholders, 40 domestic and foreign companies showcased new products and technologies. In this exhibition area, which was flooded with visitors, company representatives and visitors came together. Additionally, during the workshop programme organized throughout the event, representatives from many companies and organizations informed visitors through their presentations. Visitors also accessed important details on process safety from 19 poster presentations in the event area. Over 2 days, through virtual reality applications with VR headsets, visitors had the opportunity to freely experience "fire suppression, LOTO and hazard hunt" scenarios.

4th Process Safety Symposium and Exhibition to be Even More Comprehensive

Coordinator Kocaeli Chamber of Industry and organizer Chem Media/Artkim Group continue to work in cooperation with public institutions, ministries and industry to further develop the Process Safety Symposium and Exhibition in 2023, benefiting from experience gained from previous events.
