SYNNEX Corporation and Lubrizol Announce Partnership
SYNNEX Corporation, a leading business process services company, has entered into an agreement with Lubrizol. Under this agreement, SYNNEX Corporation will distribute innovative powder thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) suitable for 3D printing for skin contact end-use applications of Lubrizol.
ESTANE® 3D TPU M95A, manufactured by Lubrizol, passed skin sensitivity and cytotoxicity tests according to ISO 10993-5 and 10993-10, making it a valuable material solution for product designers exploring 3D printing capabilities in skin contact applications. The material is the only TPU approved for use in the HP Jet Fusion 4200 series 3D printing solution. SYNNEX is the sole distributor of HP's 3D product series in the United States and Canada.
ESTANE® 3D TPU M95A TPU can be used in personal protective equipment applications in the healthcare sector. Skin contact capability also provides benefits for applications in footwear, wearable electronics, prosthetics and orthotic devices.
