Plixxent: Europe's New Polyurethane Systems Solutions Supplier

Plixxent, a new polyurethane (PU) systems solutions supplier, commenced operations on 4 November 2019. The group of companies, with approximately 250 full-time employees across five locations in Europe, encompasses the entire application range of PU systems. The company's target customers come from the construction materials sector, furniture sector, automotive sector and household appliances sector. The group was established when four European systems manufacturers that parted ways with their parent company Covestro in the summer of 2019 were consolidated under the Plixxent brand in the market today. The group's new owner is US investor H.I.G. Capital. The transaction closed on 1 November 2019.
