NexKemia Acquires Eco-Captation

NexKemia Acquires Eco-Captation Expandable polystyrene manufacturer NexKemia has completed the acquisition of Eco-Captation, a leading polystyrene waste collection and recycling company. NexKemia is a subsidiary of Integreon Global, a family of companies providing product integrity and protection through innovative materials, testing services, packaging and monitoring solutions. Eco-Captation is a specialist in polystyrene waste recycling, with a particular focus on post-consumer recycled materials. The company combines artificial intelligence-enhanced optical sorting technology with a mechanical recycling process to convert plastic waste into high-quality raw materials made from post-consumer recycled materials. Integreon Global President Maurice Barakat stated, "We are proud to welcome Eco-Captation to the Integreon family and look forward to growth by leveraging their significant recycling expertise. We are excited about delivering improved packaging and insulation solutions for our customers and using technology to reduce carbon footprint." The products resulting from the Eco-Captation acquisition will be used by NexKemia and parent company Integreon Global in daily applications where sustainability and circularity play an important role, including high-performance cold-chain packaging solutions and construction materials.
