Kimpur Makes Significant Contribution to Digital Transformation

Kimpur, which has deployed Invoice Process Manager (IPM) and Interactive e-Archive Robot products into live operation, is accelerating accounting processes through this project while recording transactions with zero error rates. The fully electronic system eliminates paper usage and contributes to environmental protection. The chemical industry company, which deployed the 'Invoice Process Manager (IPM)' and Interactive e-Archive Robot products developed with Çözümevi Yönetim Danışmanlığı ve Bilgisayar Yazılım Ticaret A.Ş, is now able to consolidate incoming invoice processes with SAP under a single roof within the project scope, quickly approve them via mobile devices, and record invoices with zero error rates through automatic accounting entries. At the same time, the fully electronic operation of the system eliminates paper usage and contributes to environmental protection.

Robust digital infrastructure

Kimpur, which holds ISO 27001 Information Security Management System certification, applies the Information Security Management System across all company units and ensures it maintains the most current technologies and practices for information systems. In 2018, Kimpur renewed all servers and active equipment used in the infrastructure, bringing system rooms above standards. In 2019, the company deployed the SAP S/4 Hana project, reorganizing all business processes across the company. Through this project, handheld terminals in production enable real-time data flows, and alongside the development of new applications to ensure error-free production, all R&D projects are tracked within SAP, enabling optimal product designs in line with market and customer expectations. Kimpur tracks maintenance and repair activities under monthly and annual planned maintenance through the SAP PM module, minimizing downtime through daily and systematic predictive maintenance. Through the MRP project it developed, Kimpur precisely forecasts production planning and raw material requirements in line with real-time sales forecasts obtained from the market. By transferring documents from foreign trade customs systems electronically to the document tracking system within SAP, Kimpur eliminates paper consumption and achieves maximum efficiency in business processes across the Logistics, Quality, Inventory, Sales, Procurement and Finance departments through the SAP project. Through all these digital solutions it has developed, Kimpur continues production uninterrupted throughout the year without any disruption in the supply chain.

Tuğrul Köstence, IT Manager at Kimpur, noted that there are numerous security solutions in place to protect Kimpur's data and records, and continued as follows: "Through our security solutions, it is possible to ensure the security, authorization, encryption, logging and protection against attacks of data located on servers and personal computers. Additionally, DLP (Data Loss Prevention) has been deployed to make authorization procedures even more secure. This has provided protection for all projects developed in R&D.
