Kimpur Continues to Grow
Kimteks Polyurethane Industry and Trade Inc. (KIMPUR), a chemical-industry company among Turkey's largest 500 industrial enterprises, climbed 93 places to rank 221st in the "Turkey's 500 Largest Industrial Enterprises Survey-2021" prepared by Istanbul Chamber of Industry (ISO).
KIMPUR, which manufactures polyurethane systems used in various sectors such as footwear, automotive, furniture, heating-cooling and insulation-construction, achieved major success in the 2021 list of "Turkey's 500 Largest Industrial Enterprises," a research that Istanbul Chamber of Industry has conducted continuously since 1968 and which produces the most valuable data for the sector. Drawing attention through its investments in Turkey and Europe and a successful initial public offering in April, KIMPUR advanced 93 places to rank 221st.
KIMPUR CEO Cavidan Karaca commented on the matter as follows: "We are continuing this year, which we started with strong performance, with even higher performance thanks to the successes we have achieved. Behind this are disciplined management, high technology and our R&D investments.

The Company Ranked 314th in Last Year's ISO 500 List
KIMPUR, which is taking important steps towards a sustainable world through its investments and recently held the foundation-laying ceremony for its Düzce production facility as part of these efforts, aims to strengthen its competitive position in export and domestic markets by reducing energy costs in production through the renewable energy investment at the facility.
As part of its sustainability targets, with this investment the company aims to meet approximately 55% of total electricity consumption in addition to reducing carbon dioxide emissions by approximately 679 tonnes annually. KIMPUR, one of the leading polyurethane-sector companies with 39 years of experience, conducted its initial public offering in April by selling 27.15% of shares, marking one of the largest offerings of recent years.
