Kimpur Drives Sector Momentum with New Products In R&D research conducted by Turkishtime last year, Kimpur was the only polyurethane systems house among the top 10 companies with the highest R&D spending in the Chemical Substances and Products sector in 2020. In 2021, the company increased these investments further and launched 35 new products addressing multiple sectors including footwear, automotive, furniture, construction and building. Derya Esnaf, Marketing Manager at Kimpur, stated at the Putech Fair held in November 2021 that they successfully positioned ultra-low-density sports systems and ultra-low-density viscoelastic systems that they launched, noting strong domestic and export market demand for these new products. She emphasized that by developing high-performance products at lower densities, they are contributing to the sector in terms of production efficiency and sustainability. Noting that the company launched two more differentiated new products in January-February 2022, gaining sector momentum in the first months of the year, Esnaf stated that these products are slipper and winter systems newly added to KIMfoot^® Shoe Systems, one of Kimpur's product groups. The KIMfoot^® Slipper System is used in the production of slippers, soft carpet slippers and slipper midsoles. The system offers manufacturers the ability to work at low density with 300-350 kg/m³ density and 30±5 ShA hardness characteristics, while providing users with high comfort and coziness at home.

KIMfoot^® Winter Sole System has many distinctive features compared to standard winter systems. With a mold density of 450-500 kg/m³, it offers the ability to work at lower density, demonstrates high elasticity even at -20 °C providing comfortable and firm steps at low temperatures, and increases production efficiency with a 10-15% weight advantage. Furthermore, it also possesses superior advantages such as glossy appearance, high slip resistance and low processing ratio.
