Kimpur Becomes a Member of SaSaD

Kimpur Joins SaSaD Kimpur, a 100 percent domestically-owned Turkish polyurethane systems producer whose products are used in footwear, automotive, furniture, insulation-construction, and heating-cooling sectors, has joined the Defence and Aviation Industry Manufacturers' Association (SaSaD) with the aim of elevating its work to the highest level within the scope of projects it has developed for the defence industry and signing more contracts. Kimpur, one of the leading companies in the polyurethane sector with 39 years of experience, joined SaSaD to increase its activities related to project work it has developed on producing raw materials for the defence industry. SaSaD, an advocate for Turkish Defence and Aviation Industry on domestic and international platforms, carries out activities aimed at minimizing external dependency in the defence and security sector in Turkey and contributing to the formation of an industry capable of competing internationally. Creating platforms that will strengthen cooperation and generate synergy among sector stakeholders, SaSaD produces solutions in line with the demands and expectations of its members. Pointing out that its R&D centres are staffed with a 27-person equipped team, Kimpur CEO Cavidan Karaca stated: "As a company holding an R&D Centre certificate from the Ministry of Industry and Technology as of May 2017, thanks to our expert R&D team in our sector, we continue to produce sustainable and high value-added products; we are developing new products both with universities and with our customers. The Defence Industry also came into our radar this way.
