Kimpur Strengthens Export Growth in the Panel Sector
Kimpur has reinforced its growth in the panel sector with a new technical achievement in customer projects. The testing and certification process carried out in accordance with EN 13501-1:2018 for panels manufactured using the KIMrigid PIR Sandwich Panel system, developed for the projects of leading sandwich panel producers in the sector for both domestic and export markets, has been successfully completed; the panels received a B-s1,d0 reaction-to-fire classification.
Kimpur supported its growth in the panel sector with a new technical achievement obtained in customer projects. The testing and certification process conducted according to the EN 13501-1:2018 standard was successfully completed for panels manufactured using the KIMrigid PIR Sandwich Panel system, developed for projects of leading sandwich panel manufacturers in domestic and export markets; the panels received B-s1,d0 fire reaction classification.
The EN 13501-1:2018 standard is recognized as the European standard that determines the fire reaction performance classification of construction products. Kimpur is positioned as the first polyurethane system house in Turkey supporting certification processes that enable its customers to obtain B-s1,d0 level classification.
Rising Global Demand and Strengthened Position
As expectations regarding building safety and fire performance increase in global markets, Kimpur continues to develop system solutions that rapidly adapt to these developments and support panel manufacturers' processes for compliance with changing regulations. The results achieved demonstrate Kimpur's technical competence in international markets and regulatory compliance capability, while also strengthening the panel sector's export capacity.
