Kimpur Ranks 13th in Global Chemical Sector in LSEG ESG Assessment

Kimpur has once again demonstrated its performance on a global scale, continuing to be included in the environmental, social and governance (ESG) assessment conducted by the London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG), one of the world's most prestigious sustainability ratings, scoring 82 out of 100 this year. In the assessment, the company showed particularly strong performance with a score of 98 in the environmental category and 87 in the social category.
Kimpur has continued to be included in the environmental, social and governance (ESG) assessment conducted by London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG), one of the world's most prestigious sustainability ratings, demonstrating its global-scale performance once again with a score of 82 out of 100 this year. In the assessment, the company displayed strong performance particularly with 98 points in the environmental category and 87 points in the social category.
Kimpur, ranked 13th among 517 companies evaluated globally in the chemical sector, strengthened its visibility in the XUSRD – BIST Sustainability Index while also contributing to its prominence in Turkey's capital markets. The company recently announced that it reached Gold level in the EcoVadis assessment, maintaining consistent performance in sustainability at both national and international levels. Kimpur continues to share its sustainability work transparently with the public through integrated reports and sustainability reports for many years. In 2025, the company published its report for the first time in compliance with Turkey Sustainability Reporting Standards (TSRS), while managing its environmental processes with a systematic approach in line with the 2030 Climate Change Roadmap. Kimpur identifies risks stemming from the climate crisis and evaluates them through scenario analyses, implementing action plans accordingly.
Transparency and Measurable Targets in Sustainability
Among the company's 2030 targets are reducing Scope 1 and 2 emission intensity per unit by 33%, reducing energy consumption intensity by 22%, and generating 25% of sales from its sustainable product portfolio.
Strengthening its sustainability approach in the social sphere, Kimpur has made significant progress focused on diversity, inclusion and employee engagement. The company consistently increases its score in the employee engagement survey conducted by Happy Place to Work over the years, demonstrating a strong corporate culture.
